The launch waitlist

Signing up is voluntary. If you join, we collect your email address, the time and wording of your consent, and your waitlist status. We use this information to manage the waitlist and send you BarterPilot launch and waitlist updates. We do not use it for unrelated promotions or sell your details. Without an email address and consent we cannot add you to the waitlist.

Your consent

We send waitlist and launch updates only with your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, consent is the basis for these emails and our legitimate interest in keeping this website secure is the basis for necessary security processing.

Hosting and email services

The website is hosted on our VPS. Cloudflare provides the domain proxy, content delivery and security services and processes connection data such as IP address, request information and browser information. RevMail, our email platform hosted on this VPS, stores the waitlist and consent information and manages email delivery and opt-outs. Authorized hosting and email delivery providers may process data as necessary to provide these services. Data may be processed outside your country, including in Hong Kong and in the countries in which our providers operate. Where applicable, legally required safeguards apply to international transfers.

Cookies and technical data

This landing page does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use tracking pixels, or load third-party fonts. Necessary security features from Cloudflare may use technical storage. Our application temporarily processes IP addresses to limit abusive submissions; rate-limit entries expire within 15 minutes. We do not write email addresses or request bodies to application logs.

Retention

We keep waitlist information while it is needed to manage the launch and your subscription. You can request deletion at any time. We review the waitlist after launch and delete information no longer needed. Minimal suppression and consent records may be retained where necessary to respect opt-outs or meet legal obligations; backup copies expire according to our backup cycle.

Your choices and rights

You can request access to or correction of your information, unsubscribe, or request deletion by contacting us above. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restriction, objection and portability. You can complain to the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data or your relevant local data protection authority.

Changes

We will update this notice if our use of personal information changes. We will seek fresh consent where required before using your information for a new purpose.
